In a shocking and bizarre incident, a Tesla Cybertruck owner says he caught someone attempting to urinate on his vehicle—not realizing the owner was still inside.
Tahseen Syed, a member of the Cybertruck Owners Only Facebook group, shared the unbelievable encounter online, posting a picture of the man and writing:
“A dude tried to urinate on my car, not realizing I was still inside the truck. I chased him away, but this is getting ridiculous.”
The post immediately sparked a wave of strong reactions from the Tesla community and beyond, raising serious concerns about public behavior, safety, and how polarized things have become in the wake of Elon Musk’s political presence.
“Let Him Do It and Call the Police”
One commenter, Brade Barnett, took a more strategic view:
“Missed opportunity. Let him do it and submit it to the police. Dude gets arrested for indecent exposure on his record. He can explain his courageous act of heroism to all his future employers.”
But he also issued a word of caution to Tahseen for sharing the photo publicly:
“Be careful posting data like this you can’t prove. He could come after you for defamation.”
And that’s a key concern. While many were outraged by the behavior, others worried that posting a photo of someone without context or legal action might open the door to legal trouble.
Is It About the Truck—or Something Deeper?
For some, the act wasn’t just vandalism—it was symbolic.
“Honestly, I love my truck but want no part of this,” one user, The Yeti Chick, wrote.
“Elon should not have mixed politics and business.”
Other commenters argued that Tesla, and especially Elon Musk, have become lightning rods for political anger—turning the vehicles into moving targets.
Jas On added:
“Another person using hate, intimidation, violence or vandalism to ‘fight Nazis’.”
Bigger Picture: Is Musk Making Tesla Owners Targets?
The post stirred a much larger conversation about how Elon Musk’s controversial public image is affecting everyday Tesla owners.
One commenter, Buddy George, shared a powerful sentiment:
“The assault on Americans by Musk is bringing out the worst in people. The sense of helplessness is overwhelming. The country is being disassembled by an unelected and unconfirmed misanthrope.”
While that may feel extreme to some, it shows how deeply divided public opinion is—not just on Elon Musk, but on the people who buy his products.
This Isn’t an Isolated Incident
It turns out Tahseen isn’t alone.
Another member of the group, Bob Li, chimed in:
“Days ago I caught a guy with a full video peeing on my car in WA, as he was facing literally to the left camera.”
That’s right—more than one person has experienced this exact kind of disrespect and behavior, and the fact that it’s caught on camera shows just how bold some individuals have become.
“It’s Just a Matter of Time…”
Commenter Carl Fuqua warned:
“It’s just a matter of time before some idiot does the wrong thing to the right person and something happens.”
And that’s what has many Tesla owners uneasy. While most drive their vehicles for the tech, the performance, or the environmental benefits, they now find themselves in a strange culture war—with their cars as the battleground.
What If a Child Had Been Inside?
Perhaps the most disturbing point came from Bhavik Patel:
“Say your kids were in the truck. Now he has indecent exposure and has to register as a sex offender too.”
That’s not just a hypothetical. In many states, indecent exposure in front of minors can carry serious legal consequences—including lifetime sex offender registration.
